Process Engineer

Hours of Work: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
Overview: Hardman Grey Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Process Engineer to join a leading global provider of high-performance materials used in the electronics industry. The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
* Leading the scale-up of new technologies from R&D to full production.
* Working with epoxy, polyurethane compounds, and other liquid chemistries.
* Collaborating with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless process transfer and robust production capability.
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and efficiency.
* Troubleshooting and optimizing existing manufacturing processes.
* Sourcing, specifying, and supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Developing clear and effective operating procedures and supporting the training of production staff.
* Supporting New Product Development with robust, repeatable, and safe manufacturing processes.
The ideal Process Engineer candidate will have:
* At least 3 years experience as a Process Engineer
* A degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Hands-on experience or understanding of manufacturing production process, Ideally in chemical blending/mixing or wet chemicals.
* Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects and implement improvements.
* Understanding of FMEA processes and lean manufacturing principles.
* Good knowledge of production equipment and writing SOPs or HMI instructions.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
* A proactive mindset and willingness to be involved on the shop floor.
