Duties & Responsibilities
A highly experienced person focused practitioner is sought to manage and develop the integrated service for people with dementia and functional diagnosis in Midlothian, liaising with the NHS and Midlothian Council. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team offering a specialist service in line with the Mental Health Strategy and Dementia Strategy in Midlothian, promoting independent living and positive outcomes for people living with mental disorder and dementia.
Key Requirements
Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional.
Evidence of further education including post-graduate qualification in relevant area.
Relevant experience in specialty with ability to demonstrate appropriate skills and knowledge.
Evidence of management, education, and training i.e., completion of Leading Better Care modules, Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, particularly influencing, negotiating skills and leadership qualities.
IT skills.
