Job Title: Recycling Operative – Scrap Metal Location: Shepshed, LE12 Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate Start Available Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid break) Full-time, 5 days per week – consistent, ongoing work. About the Role: We’re currently recruiting an experienced Recycling Operative to join a well-established scrap metal merchant in Shepshed. This is a hands-on role involving the sorting and processing of scrap metal, plastics, and other recyclable materials. You will be working in a busy, dusty, and noisy environment, so previous experience in a similar setting — especially in a metal recycling facility — is highly preferred. The role does not involve heavy lifting, but it does require attention to detail, focus, and the ability to work independently.
