Abbott Vascular UK is recruiting a Clinical Specialist to join our Coronary team. This could be an ideal opportunity for recent graduates in Biomedical Sciences or similar fields who are looking to start their careers in the medical devices industry.
The Clinical Specialist will provide operational support during procedures and training to support strategic, operational, and quality objectives within the assigned territory (South Wales/West Midlands/East Anglia/East Midlands).
Key responsibilities:
* Support and drive employee and customer clinical training and sign-off. Create bespoke training programs based on customer needs.
* Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of Abbott therapies and technologies, as well as understanding the healthcare market dynamics. Keep informed of clinical studies to support product advantages.
* Support physicians during clinical procedures, providing primary technical support. Escalate to senior colleagues as needed.
* Support product implementation and customer education.
* Conduct product presentations and respond to technical questions.
Requirements:
* BSc degree in Biomedical Science or a relevant discipline.
* Experience in a Cath lab or similar clinical role is preferred but not required.
* Strong knowledge of Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology.
* Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly motivated, with strong IT skills and willingness to travel extensively (driving license required).
