Buyer Temporary Position Bognor Regis 37.50 Hours per week 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 13.30 Friday Essential Functions Provide day-to-day management of site Supply Chain and Procurement activities. Work with the local and global teams to identify, develop, plan and program manage Supply Chain improvement programs inclusive of sourcing, supplier reductions, cost out and operational performance. To perform all tactical and strategic site purchasing activities. To support the team such that it is engaged and accountable for ownership of customer solutions and has a passion for exceeding customer and employee expectations. • Co-ordination of all tactical and strategic site purchasing activities to drive the business wide material procurement activity whilst identifying and implementing strategic purchasing initiatives • Participate Production Meeting’s, maintain and report site wide performance to drive increased customer satisfaction through performance • Maintain and drive key supplier metrics and service level initiatives to improve customer satisfaction – Metrics to include (but not limited to) Supplier OTD, CRSD, Cost Out, Inventory, DOH etc • Maintenance of customer forecasts.
