Job summary
To provide a first class, comprehensive secretarial service to a large teamof local Consultant Medical Staff and to facilitate effective communication between medical teams at the South East Wales centre.
To actively participate in the planning and implementation of all reading and assessment clinics held at the South East Wales Breast Screening Centre in Cardiff. Providing non clinical advice and information over the telephone, in Welsh or English, to service user, their families or carers.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Secretary. The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the local clinical team. Planning and supporting the assessment pathway, including processing assessment clinics, typing clinic letters, recording clinical data and creating electronic treatment referrals.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail, have excellent written and oral communication skills, accurate audio and copy typing skills, high level organisational skills.
