Role Overview
At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Security Governance and Assurance Manager, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history and innovation. The role:
Responsibilities
* Owning and continually improving JM’s Global Security Policy, Standards and site risk classification in line with the organisation’s risk appetite.
* Designing, maintaining and delivering a fit‑for‑purpose Level 2 security assurance programme across JM and relevant third‑party sites.
* Partnering with Group Security operations and business units to plan and conduct on‑site security assurance audits and assessments.
* Coordinating with Group Assurance and Risk teams to support the development, delivery and follow‑up of Level 3 security audits.
* Tracking, reporting and driving closure of actions arising from security assurance activity.
* Supporting global security programmes, including penetration testing, data governance, continuous improvement initiatives and training.

Key Skills
* Recognised qualification in Security, Business Management or a related discipline, supported by relevant professional experience.
* Proven experience identifying security risks, conducting security assurance or audit activity, and recommending pragmatic mitigation actions.
* Strong knowledge of physical, technical and procedural security controls and their effective implementation.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed locations, with strong organisational skills.
* Experience working with security‑related data, reporting and analysis to support informed decision‑making.
* Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders across corporate and operational functions in a global environment.
