Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Podiatrist based in Grimsby. The Podiatrist will assess and treat a variety of foot and lower limb conditions, including corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and plantar fasciitis. Daily responsibilities include conducting biomechanical assessments, providing orthotic solutions, administering localized treatments, and offering patient education on preventative care and pain management. The role also involves working collaboratively with a team of qualified professionals to enhance patient outcomes and maintain the high standards of care provided by The Achilles Centre.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Podiatry and Medicine, including the ability to assess and treat a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions.
* Knowledge and experience in Biomechanics and Orthotics, including the assessment and modification of footwear and the development of customized orthotic devices.
* Proficiency in managing conditions related to Diabetes, with an emphasis on prevention, treatment, and ongoing care of diabetic foot complications.
* Ability to work collaboratively, maintain precise patient documentation, and communicate effectively with both patients and team members.
* Current HPC and State Registration in Podiatry is required.
* Experience in minor surgical procedures and the use of local anesthetics is an advantage.
