Blue Legal are partnering with a leading regional law firm who are recruiting for a Secretary to join their Winchester office. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, providing strong support to fee-earners managing heavy workloads. You should be well-organised, capable of handling initial client enquiries, and confident in completing dictation tasks.
The Responsibilities:
* Produce documents and reports, including typing from dictation and preparing legal paperwork such as quotations and Land Registry forms.
* Act as the first point of contact, handling client communication and internal/external telephone enquiries.
* Manage payments and conduct bank detail checks.
* Maintain file compliance and oversee diary management.
* Handle filing, organisation, and general administrative duties.
* Support overall team operations through efficient coordination and communication.
The Candidate:
* Strong secretarial foundation with excellent communication, organisation, and accurate typing (keyboard and audio) skills, plus advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
* Proactive, flexible, and accountable individual who takes ownership of their work.
* Property sector experience (residential or commercial) is a valuable advantage.
