Job Title: Mobile Van Technician
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Van Technician to join our team in Reading. You will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans at customer locations, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain vans at customer sites
* Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
* Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
* Complete accurate and timely documentation
* Provide excellent on-site customer service
* Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance procedures
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience as a Vehicle or HGV Technician / Mechanic
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Able to work independently and manage your own schedule
* Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
* Flexible and willing to travel to customer sites
