Contract Details
Contract: Full Time, Permanent. Salary: £27,500 per annum. Hours: 40 per week.
An independent co‑educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18 in Street, Somerset. Catering for around 1,300 students daily. We provide a core feeding offer of breakfast, lunch and supper, along with vibrant hospitality provision. This is a 52‑week contract and operates 7 days a week, with additional weekend residential activity for boarders. A key benefit to this location is the extensive campus setting and outstanding facilities in the heart of the Somerset countryside.
We are looking for a Supervisor to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Somerset.
You will ideally have previous experience of working within a fast‑paced catering environment as a hospitality assistant or supervisor.
You will enjoy what you do, working with a great team, for a company dedicated to serving wonderful customers.
Key responsibilities
* Oversee the hospitality operation
* Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled
* Ensure all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
* Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, making hot drinks, clearing down (Barista skills essential)
Required skills and qualifications
* Hospitality experience required
* All‑round team player
* Organised with attention to detail
* Reasonable or good understanding and use of verbal English
* Reasonable or good standard of written English and reading skills
* Similar experience in customer or food preparation environment preferred
