The opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a new Customer Service expert to join the team. The purpose of this role is to provide a great customer experience for all Whisky.Auction customers at all times. The Customer Service Administrator is the first point of contact for our customers through both our external phone line and email, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers from start to finish. You will work closely with the small, tight-knit Whisky.Auction team (in particular the Auction Manager and Logistics Administrator), as well as key contacts in our Warehouse and Delivery teams. The role is based at our head office in Park Royal, so you must be able to commute to this location.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Confirming all details regarding order collections and drop-offs with customer (including estimated delivery times and dates, and any specific requirements such as collection notes when required)
* Meet and greet customers when collecting items for auction
* Carefully delivering items to customers at the trade desk/car park
* Communicating with all customers in a professional manner, escalating issues when required
* Ensuring records of collection/drop-off requests are inputted and maintained accurately
* Ensure delivery details match up with the orders
* Answering phone calls in a professional manner

Our ideal candidate is someone detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills. You will be someone who is able to maintain accurate records and who thrives in an environment where there are lots of moving parts. You will also have:
* Experience in a customer-focused, professional environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build good rapport with customers
* Good numeracy skills
* IT skills; Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook
* The ability to multi-task in order to meet the required deadlines
* A team-focused approach; the ability to build relationships with and provide support to other team members
Desirable
* Premium Spirits knowledge
* Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) qualifications
* Experience of selling luxury or specialist products
