We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join a globally recognised engineering firm based in Sheffield, known for It's excellence in mechanical and plant engineering. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience), plus quarterly bonuses averaging around £1,400, based on team performance. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with an office-based work model.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email, delivering exceptional service and managing orders efficiently through systems such as SAP and Salesforce. You’ll prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries, and collaborate closely with production, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely order fulfilment. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, while providing vital sales support through lead generation, administrative tasks, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, excellent telephone communication, and the ability to build strong team relationships.
