Job Description We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Customer Service Assistant to join a busy and dynamic team within a growing technical services organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is integral to ensuring smooth communication and coordination between service, sales, and client teams. You will act as a key point of contact, supporting service operations and helping to deliver an excellent client experience. This is ideally a full time role, but the company will consider reduced hours for the right person. Key Responsibilities Coordinate service contracts and schedule preventative maintenance visits. Provide administrative support including preparing quotations, ordering spare parts, and arranging courier collections/deliveries. Collate and monitor service team activity to ensure SLA compliance. Produce monthly service performance reports, tracking downtime and activity levels. Prioritise and escalate urgent service cases to technical management. Manage calibration schedules for testing equipment to minimise downtime. Liaise with service and management teams to ensure timely case resolution. Support management with data and reporting for performance reviews. Promote and uphold company values and contribute to continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety standards. Person Specification Essential Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Positive, assertive, and approachable personality. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Team player with a proactive, self-motivated attitude. Preferred Experience using Excel and service management software.
