Job Title: Engineering Stores Manager Location: Dungannon Purpose of the Role To ensure that the required level of purchasing support is provided to all members of the Engineering Team. To provide information and assistance where required for engineering parts requisition. The purchasing manager will ensure that the store area is maintained in an orderly fashion with adequate stock levels. Ensure that the engineering stores assistants are adequately trained and inventory management procedures are in place. Key Responsibilities To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc. To provide purchasing support to the Engineers and Managers as listed above Validates all purchasing costs and seeks to obtain best value on all purchases Ensure the expenditure tracking is up-to-date, accurate and distributed in time Raise all purchasing orders according to procedure, ensuring correct delivery date, correct categorisation and item detail Manage the Site engineering stores, stock and finance related reports Collate goods received and ensure proper receipting by the stores assistants Order goods and services from contractors / suppliers ( with respected to Purchase to Pay Cycle - Goods and Services) Answer and deal with any purchasing queries as necessary All relevant CMMS and ERP data entry as necessary Proactive approach in continuous improvement for department Skills & Experience Required Numeracy and literacy skills Good inter-personal skills Able to work on own initiative. Manage spend according to a budget Excellent communication skills at all levels. High degree of IT literacy including Microsoft Office and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems/ERP systems Previous purchasing experience Why Join Us?
