Early Years Tutor Assessor – Home-Based (West Midlands)
Work from home while supporting the next generation of Early Years professionals! We are recruiting an experienced Early Years Tutor Assessor for a well-established training provider. The role is home-based with travel to nursery settings across the West Midlands for assessments and observations.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Deliver and assess Early Years Apprenticeships Levels 2, 3, and ideally Level 5
*
Conduct workplace observations within nursery settings
*
Deliver remote learning and one-to-one tutorials
*
Complete assessments, progress reviews, and learner tracking
*
Maintain OneFile portfolios
*
Deliver and assess Functional Skills Maths, English, ICT up to Level 2
*
Support learners through End Point Assessment
*
Work with nursery managers and mentors
*
Ensure accurate learner documentation and compliance
Essential Requirements:
*
Assessor qualification: D32/D33, A1, TAQA, or CAVA (or working towards)
*
Teaching qualification: Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Education and Training (or equivalent)
*
Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
*
Experience delivering Early Years Apprenticeships Levels 2 & 3; Level 5 desirable
*
Experience delivering Functional Skills up to Level 2
*
Strong occupational competence in Early Years
*
IT & admin skills, full UK driving licence + vehicle
