The Role
We're not asking you to be mediocre at lots of things; we're looking for someone who is legitimately strong across content creation and paid social, and who understands instinctively how the two connect.
You’ll be working across a mix of client accounts, shooting and editing content for social (paid & organic), building and managing Meta ad campaigns, and contributing to a team that holds its work to a high standard. A working knowledge of Google Ads is a bonus we'd welcome.
This isn't an exec role dressed up with a different title. It's a specialist position, and we'll treat it - and you - accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
* Plan, shoot, and direct original video and photography content for use across client social channels and paid campaigns
* Edit content to a professional standard using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent
* Develop content that is platform-native - you understand the difference between what works on Reels, Stories, TikTok, and static feed
* Collaborate with clients and the wider team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
* Stay across content trends and bring fresh ideas to briefs
Paid Social & Performance
* Build, manage, and optimise Meta ad campaigns (Facebook & Instagram) across a range of client industries and budgets
* Write ad copy and select or brief creative assets that perform - you understand what makes someone stop scrolling
* Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and make informed optimisation decisions
* Produce clear, client-ready performance reports with meaningful commentary (not just numbers)
* Support on Google Ads campaigns where relevant - Search, Display or Performance Max (desirable, not essential)
Client & Team
* Contribute confidently in client-facing situations, whether that's on a shoot or in a review meeting
* Manage your own workload across multiple clients without dropping the ball
* Share learnings, flag issues early, and be a reliable presence in the team
Person Specification
Essential
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Competent behind a camera - you can plan and execute a shoot without a production team
* Strong video editing skills with a portfolio or showreel to back it up
* A solid understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and what content performs on each
* Experience using Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, and reporting tools
* Excellent attention to detail - in creative output, in data, and in communication
* Comfortable working at pace across multiple client accounts
* Strong written communication skills — for ad copy, reports, and day-to-day client interaction
Desirable
* Previous experience in a digital marketing agency environment
* Knowledge of Google & Meta Ads
* Familiarity with project management or workflow tools
* An interest in the commercial side of marketing - you care about results, not just content
