Argento Web & Warehouse Team (Head Office) are recruiting for Seasonal Staff
Christmas is our busiest time of the year so whether it’s helping to pick and pack the perfect present, assist with packing the deliveries for our stores, or engraving jewellery, we are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, reliable staff to join the team in Argento Head Office.
We are recruiting up to 20 temporary staff on various contracts including 16 hours, 24 hours, 32 hours and 40 hours.
Job Title: Seasonal Stock Assistant
Responsible to: Supervisor / Manager
Contract: Various contracts available, 16 – 40 hours per week
Hours of Work: will vary, but will include day, evening and weekend shifts
Location: Belfast BT4
We require candidates who will be flexible to work a varied shift pattern and be flexible to work up to 40 hours per week
Shift patterns will include for example, 0600 – 1430 / 0800 – 1630 / 1200 – 2000

Our site is not your ‘typical’ warehouse, it does not include using forklifts, wearing safety boots etc
Product care and accuracy are key in these roles, to ensure we provide amazing service to our customers. Our roles involve a lot of walking and climbing of steps, and good dexterity helps when packing orders.
The role involves carrying out various tasks, including warehouse stock administration, online dispatch and engraving. You could be tasked with goods in, dispatching, picking and packing, replenishment, heat sealing, and could also be tasked with engraving customer orders.
No previous experience is required, our friendly team will provide you with training, you will also have a buddy to support you during your first couple of weeks.

Tasks include:
* Efficiently and effectively receiving & storing goods inwards following Argentos internal processes and procedures
* Assist with the online orders, including picking and packing, replenishment, manual handling, stock control and use of in-house systems
* Accurately pick and pack orders ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy, following brand packaging guidelines
* Carry out detailed engraving on jewellery in line with customer requirements, brand guidelines and company procedures
* Follow security, health & safety, fire safety and housekeeping guidelines and standards, ensuring all waste is disposed of safely and in line with company process
* Ensure all tasks are prioritised and completed within expected timescales to a high standard
Essential Criteria
* GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively, using product number and codes
* Proactive and capable of working under minimum supervision
* Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
* Ability to work to high standards, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages including excel and email
* Well presented with an enthusiastic, positive, pro-active and professional approach
* Flexibility both in duties within the team and in hours of work to ensure that business needs are met (additional hours during peak trading times)
* Right To Work Documents (UK Citizens - Passport or Birth Certificate & NI / All other Citizens - Copy of Sharecode Document
