About the role
* We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to manage multiple concurrent construction projects across diverse programmes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling high project volumes, balancing competing priorities, and driving efficiency while ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.
What you'll do
* Key Responsibilities:
* Programme & Multi-Project Coordination:
* Oversee and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously across our ambitious delivery programme.
* Prioritise resources, timelines, and tasks to optimise delivery and meet challenging deadlines.
* Coordinate with stakeholders from across the business to align project goals with broader business objectives.
* Project Planning & Execution:
* Develop and maintain project programmes ensuring these are kept up to date and communicated to PMO.
* Manage and build key supplier relationships ensuring that performance meets IVC expectations and escalate non-performance according.
* Quickly identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to maintain momentum.
* Financial Management:
* Monitor and control budgets across multiple projects, ensuring cost efficiencies and profitability.
* Review tenders, negotiate contracts, and manage costs in line with approval processes and programme budgets.
* Stakeholder & Team Management:
* Lead diverse project teams across different sites, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration.
* Engage regularly with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain transparency and alignment.
* Quality, Safety & Risk Control:
* Enforce strict adherence to H&S and quality standards across all projects.
* Proactively identify risks related to programmes, resource constraints, and compliance and develop mitigation strategies.
* Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
* Provide comprehensive progress reports, highlighting risks, delays, and resource needs to the senior team.
* Drive process improvements and best practices to enhance delivery efficiency in a high-volume environment.
* Qualifications:
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
* 5+ years managing multiple concurrent construction projects in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
* Strong organisational skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic environment.
* Experience using project/programme management tools (e.g. MS Project).
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
