We’re looking for a detail-driven, customer-focused Air Export Agent to join our Pharmaceutical Division. In this role, you’ll coordinate time-sensitive international and domestic air shipments with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and client satisfaction. You’ll work closely with carriers, vendors, and international agents to ensure every shipment meets the high standards our clients—and their patients—depend on.
Responsibilities
* Manage and process air export shipments from start to finish, including booking, documentation, billing, and compliance
* Document detailed shipment notes in our Transportation Management System (TMS)
* Maintain proactive communication with clients, carriers, and global partners
* Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with a sense of urgency and professionalism
* Prepare all necessary export documentation, including air waybills, AES filings, and certificates of origin
* Ensure all shipments meet IATA, U.S. export, and pharmaceutical handling regulations
* Collaborate with sales and support teams on specialized projects
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to time-sensitive work
* Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or distribution operations is preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
* Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage shifting priorities

Workplace Environment
This is an on-site, office-based position involving frequent computer and phone use in a professional setting. This role may require sitting or standing for extended periods, with occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds. Some weekend and holiday coverage may be necessary based on departmental scheduling needs.
