We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Community Paediatric Team in Bromley. Key Responsibilities
Manage a defined paediatric clinical caseload, delivering a high-quality occupational therapy service.
Undertake comprehensive assessments of children’s occupational performance using both standardised and non-standardised methods.
Collaborate with parents, carers, teachers, and other professionals to provide informed recommendations.
Design, implement, and evaluate tailored treatment programmes and intervention strategies.
Deliver therapy sessions (individual or group-based) to address functional needs across home, school, and community settings.
Assess and recommend small aids and specialist equipment in line with service criteria, including seating, bathing, and toileting aids.
Provide written and verbal advice to support children’s participation and independence in daily routines.
Requirements
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Demonstrable experience within paediatric occupational therapy.
A valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel across the Bromley community.
Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical reasoning skills.
