Activity Care Assistants Provide personal care, such as showering, shaving, oral hygiene and dressing, administering medication, monitoring health and wellbeing, maintaining records and reporting any changes, assisting with meal preparation, and providing emotional support and companionship.
Activity Care Assistants also contribute to a more vibrant, stimulating environment that enhances the overall living experience and satisfaction of residents in care homes.
* Planning Activities
* Promoting social interactions
* Supporting residents' wellbeing
* Managing external Visitors and entertainment
* Working with other health and social care professionals to provide holistic care
* Recording and reporting essential information in the residents' daily reports accurately and immediately (communication systems, care and health monitoring, accident and incident reports)
* Gently encouraging residents to get involved with recreational activities and hobbies
* Giving feedback to health and social care professionals

Experience and Qualifications
· NVQ Level 2 in health and social care desirable
· A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and setting
· Good communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft 360 and confident with using digital devices
