⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday (08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00)

The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Engineer to take responsibility for engineering operations within a high-end, Class A corporate office environment. This is a key, on-site leadership role focused on ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems.
You will act as the main point of contact for all engineering-related matters, providing technical leadership, supporting audits and reporting, and maintaining strong, proactive relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all MEP, HVAC, fire and life safety, and energy systems
* Deliver effective planned and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability
* Manage and optimise BMS/BAS and EMS platforms
* Lead fault finding, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
* Serve as the senior engineering contact for inspections, audits, and reporting
* Supervise multi-skilled engineers and specialist contractors on site
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
* Support team development, performance, and professional standards
* Manage vendors, inspections, permits, and maintenance stock
* Assist with budget control, expenditure tracking, KPI reporting, and compliance
* Participate in occasional out-of-hours or weekend work when required
About You
* Proven experience in a commercial or corporate building services environment
* Strong leadership capability with hands-on technical expertise
* Solid understanding of statutory compliance and critical building systems
* Professional, client-focused, and confident communicator
* Comfortable working in a customer-facing, premium office setting
