You will work closely with managers across designated business areas to ensure HR processes are applied consistently, supporting engagement, wellbeing, and performance. The role offers exposure to a wide range of HR activity, providing a strong foundation in generalist HR practice while developing the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to progress to a Business Partner position.

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, though we are open to considering part-time working across four days per week. The role will be principally based at our Havant campus, with travel as required to our other campuses, and offers flexibility to work from home one day per week.

* Monitor emerging HR issues, proactively identifying trends and escalating complex matters to HR Business Partners.
* Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
* Maintain accurate HR records and generate routine reports to inform HR decision-making.
* Develop your HR expertise through exposure to generalist HR activities, preparing for progression to a Business Partner role.

Requirements

We welcome applications from candidates with some HR experience, including those currently in HR Assistant, Administrator, or specialist roles, who are ready to develop broader generalist HR skills. You will need:

* CIPD Level 3 qualified, or working towards Level 5, or willingness to work towards Level 5.
* Experience supporting HR activity across one or more areas of the employee lifecycle.
* Understanding of HR policies, employment law, and procedures, with an ability to provide accurate guidance to managers.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and work collaboratively.
* A proactive and values-driven approach, with a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility in HR practice.

Benefits

In return, you will receive:

* Invest in Your Growth: Access a wide range of training, in-house coaching, workshops, and funding for qualifications. Opportunities for funded research, with potential international travel.
* Teaching Excellence Support: Fully funded Level 3 Award in Education & Training for new teachers. Certificate in Education or PGCE options with financial support and reduced teaching hours for experienced teachers.
