Location: Leeds
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 Per Annum
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, scheduled anytime between 7.00am and 5.00pm
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding removals businesses in the search for an Administrator in Leeds.
This role involves coordinating transportation and storage logistics, ensuring high-quality customer service, and supporting the branch manager with day-to-day operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and dispatch vehicles and personnel for household, office, and commercial removals.
Manage inventory and storage logistics, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
Processing weekly wages to head office.
Completing and sending client invoices.
Credit control for the branch.
Provide excellent customer service, handling escalated customer issues and complaints professionally.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, transport laws, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of removals, deliveries, vehicle usage, and incident reports.
Support the Branch Manager with all administrative duties, reporting, and audits.
Skills and Qualifications:
Exceptional attention to detail
Proven experience in administrating or similar positions.
Strong team coordination skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Good knowledge of logistics planning, vehicle routing, and storage procedures.
Familiarity with health and safety practices in a transport/removal setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software (TMS, CRM, etc.).
Valid driver’s license (commercial license preferred).
