We care for Children and Young People ages 8 and 18 in residential homes in Cheshire and support families in the community of Cheshire and surrounding areas. Our services include Therapeutic Children's Homes, Supported Living accommodation and Community Outreach work. Our work focuses on Children and Young People with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning difficulties, vulnerable families and unaccompanied asylum seeker children.

About the job
You will lead one Residential Children’s Worker caring and supporting up to two children and young people. The working pattern is two days on, four days off; handover will operate between mirroring teams (one Team Leader and one Residential Children’s Worker). You will receive guidance and supervision from the Interim Care Manager who will mostly work and be present in the Home Monday to Friday.
Daily tasks include:
* Delegating, overseeing and completing the daily tasks related to health, nutrition and hygiene, education, work experience and engaging activities in line with care plansand Quality Standards
* Supporting the management team and making responsible decisions in their absence by continuing to live the Home ethos.
* Developing the skills in your team by identifying staff needs through one-to-one supervision and daily teamwork. Build capabilities by training and delivering performance management feedback.

To be a successful Team Leader, you should:
* Hold a full clean driving licence
* Be able to lead, supervise and motivate a Residential Children's Workers in line with regulatory requirements
* Participate in continuous professional development including mandatory and enhanced training and development
