Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join their team, collecting textiles from community collection points across the region. This is a full-time, physically active role that combines driving, customer service, and warehouse duties — perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and likes to stay busy.

The Role:
1. Start by 6:00 AM, working independently or with a second driver
2. Collect textiles from designated banks and community points
3. Ensure collections are thorough, with unwanted or unsuitable items identified and left behind
4. Keep collection sites clean and tidy before leaving
5. Record weights accurately, leave receipts, and ensure all paperwork is completed in full
6. Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, performing daily walkaround checks
7. Communicate clearly with the operations team to report any issues or new opportunities for collection points
8. Support warehouse duties, including unloading, stock weighing, container loading, and textile bank painting/branding
9. Use of forklift (training provided if required)
10. General yard and warehouse support to ensure smooth operations
💷 Pay & Benefits:
11. £25,396.80 annual salary (based on a full-time 40-hour week)
12. Weekly PAYE pay (holiday pay included via advanced method)
