The Ideal Candidate
* Essential: Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
* Registered and compliant with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Evidence of Postgraduate training/or equivalent experience relevant to specialty such as:
o Child Development Specialist courses/study on conditions that affect child development
o Autistic spectrum disorder, ADHD, neurodevelopmental conditions
* Demonstrable post-registration experience of working with children in a similar area of paediatric practice.
* Desirable:
o Member of BAOT
o Membership of Special Interest Group
o Clinical Educators qualification
o Working in a community setting delivering children's Occupational Therapy services.
o Demonstrable experience of working in the NHS
* Other requirements: The successful applicant will need to be a car driver.
