We are seeking an experienced Solvency II Reporting Accountant to join the Capital Reporting team, supporting UK and Ireland operations.
This role suits a self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven regulatory environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Solvency II reporting and supporting capital monitoring activities, working closely with the Capital Reporting Manager while also taking ownership of key processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver timely and accurate quarterly and annual Solvency II submissions for the UK and Ireland
* Produce year-end Solvency II reports, including SFCR, RSR, Best Estimate Reports and Data Quality documentation
* Respond to regulatory queries and information requests as required
* Support the Capital Reporting Manager in monitoring the capital position and performing ad hoc analysis
* Assist with the implementation of accounting and regulatory changes
* Review existing processes and controls, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and automation
Skills & Experience Required
* Comfortable working with large, complex Excel spreadsheets, including manual manipulation
* Proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines with strong planning and time-management skills
* A self-starter able to lead the Solvency II reporting process with minimal supervision
* Solvency II experience preferred, or closely related regulatory/capital reporting experience
* Strong focus on process improvement and continuous enhancement of reporting procedures
