An award‑winning AV solutions provider is seeking an AV Technical Project Manager based in Bristol. Salary negotiable at £38,000 per annum, plus benefits including a bonus (~£8,000), workplace pension, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, car allowance and fuel expenses, laptop, mobile phone, and comprehensive learning / development opportunities.
You will work with the sales administration team on exciting AV projects from the initial tender stage through to coordination, execution and handover. Working closely with key team members to ensure on‑time delivery, within budget, and to a very high standard.
Responsibilities
* Technical system design and product specification.
* System design drawings, schematics and other information for tender submission.
* Collaborate with the team on documentation including scope of works, project programme and scheduling, technical drawings and design work.
* Client and main contractor liaison.
Qualifications
* Previous experience highly desirable; an AV Installations Engineer with the right aptitude willing to transition into Project Management is considered.
* Experience in system design and schematic creation highly desirable, plus accreditations in AVIXA / InfoComm CTS General, CTS‑I, CTS‑D, and other industry accreditations such as CEDIA or academic qualifications in related fields.
* IT literacy – extensive use of MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD LT and other custom software. Training will be provided as required.
* Experience running teams of operatives across multiple sites and planning processes.
