An exciting opportunity awaits at a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Havant for a dedicated and driven Head of Maths starting September 2025 with a pay rate between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.

Responsibilities of the Head of Maths:
* Lead the Maths department in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Drive curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and innovative teaching approaches.
* Support and mentor team members to raise attainment and foster a culture of academic excellence.
* Analyse data to inform teaching strategies and ensure all pupils make strong progress.
* Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop whole-school initiatives.
Requirements of the Head of Maths:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
* Proven classroom and leadership experience, or a passion to grow into a leadership role.
* A commitment to inclusive education and a desire to make a long-term impact.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
* Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
