Head of Creative Studio – In‑house

The opportunity
You will lead a high performing in‑house creative studio across growth, product and brand activity for the UK and Ireland. You will set the creative bar, drive measurable impact across lower and mid‑funnel channels and build an engaged studio culture that delivers swiftly without sacrificing quality.
About the studio
You will lead a multi‑discipline team of designers, copywriters, motion specialists and web editors, partnering closely with Marketing Operations and Performance Marketing. The team is relatively new and absolutely talented, so there is genuine scope to coach, develop and create a strong creative community. Expect a fast‑paced, commercially‑driven environment that prizes iteration and learning.
What you will do
- Lead and inspire the studio to deliver best‑in‑class creative across CRM, performance marketing, website, incentives and acquisition, as well as mid‑funnel activity such as social, content, brand and product marketing.
- Partner with Acquisition and Performance teams to translate learnings into ongoing creative optimisation that drives growth.
- Operate the studio as a responsive internal agency, elevating craft and consistency while moving at pace.
- Build process with Marketing Operations to plan, forecast and resource effectively.
- Provide clear creative direction, feedback and standards, with roughly 20% hands‑on contribution.
- Steward the brand and support productive external agency relationships.
What you will bring / Qualifications
- Significant experience leading in‑house creative teams for a brand in a commercially demanding, data‑informed environment.
- Experience in agencies welcomed where you have clear exposure to in‑house ways of working.
- Proven track record delivering performance creative that iterates quickly and improves outcomes across lower and mid‑funnel channels.
- Comfort with pace, ambiguity and change, with strong commercial awareness and ability to prioritise effectively.
- Leadership mindset favouring direction, coaching and standards over heavy hands‑on execution.
- While being hands‑on, this role will not suit someone expecting extensive craft time.
- Excellence in creative direction and communication, with the ability to make complex ideas simple.
- Expertise in Figma required, motion experience considered beneficial.
Package and working pattern
Base salary in the range of £100,000 to £120,000, plus a 10% flexible pot that can be taken as cash, allocated to benefits and pension or a bespoke combination.
Performance bonus scheme targeted around 20% to 30%.
Hybrid working with three days per week in the London office.
