This contract position is designed for professionals dedicated to enhancing the communication skills of young learners aged 3-5. Located in Hazleton, PA, this role involves working closely with a diverse student caseload of 40-50 individuals, requiring two SLPs to meet the needs effectively.
Qualifications:
* Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC)
* Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-age students
* Familiarity with early intervention programs
* Strong communication and collaborative skills
* Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
* Hazleton, PA (Elementary School Setting)
Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans for students
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate students communication needs
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt strategies as required
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
* Deliver direct SLP services in compliance with state and school regulations
