About the role Coleraine Food & Domestic Service Assistants (Cleaning and Food Services) We are seeking applicants who are enthusiastic, have a passion for the health industry, have an attention to detail, take pride in the work they complete and enjoy working with people to join the Support Services team at our Coleraine facility. We have an opportunity for part-time and casual staff to join our cleaning and food services team. We can consider a full-time contract for the right applicant, or offer flexibility for permanent part-time, and or casual contracts. The Hotel Services environmental team maintains a clean and hygienic environment and provide direct support services to our residents, patients, visitors and clinical staff. The successful applicants will maintain a clean, hygienic, comfortable and tidy environment. Duties can include servicing and cleaning kitchenettes, basic general food services, mealtime customer services, general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, toilet servicing, window cleaning, waste & linen management, infectious cleaning, cleaning offices, general public areas and some external cleaning. The Food & Domestic Services Assistants report directly to our Coleraine Support Services Manager (Food Services and Environmental Services). In addition, we have positions available in our Coleraine Food services team working in the kitchen only. WDHS food service team is recognised as a health industry leader, producing innovative, quality, healthy, and well-balanced meals. The successful applicants must be punctual, reliable, hardworking, willing to learn, have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team, and have a passion to provide a high level of customer service to staff and clients of WDHS.
