Job Description:
Onsite: This role requires reporting to Concord, NC on a full-time basis.
The Role: We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your main responsibility will be developing mechatronic systems to improve our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize solutions for technical challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do:
1. Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
2. Create detailed system architectures and specifications.
3. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
4. Liaise with suppliers, evaluate components, and select technologies.
5. Conduct testing, analysis, and debugging of systems.
6. Oversee prototype and production solutions, including design, PCB layout, and software integration.
7. Prepare technical reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering.
* Strong understanding of multidisciplinary system design.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in related fields.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
* Knowledge of system simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
* Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
* Knowledge of control systems and theory.
