This full-time role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD, helping them access learning, develop independence, and feel safe and supported throughout the school day. This role would suit individuals from backgrounds such as healthcare, social care, residential support, or those with personal experience supporting individuals with SEND. Previous school experience is not essential – the school values candidates who are empathetic, reliable and proactive. You should also feel comfortable assisting with personal care where required. Role Details Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent Based in Southend-on-Sea Ideal Candidate Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils Patient, nurturing and adaptable in their approach Confident supporting children with complex additional needs Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative team Qualifications such as Manual Handling, Hoist Training, First Aid, or care-related certifications are beneficial but not essential.
