We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in Lichfield. This is a full-time role starting in May 2026, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a variety of SEN needs
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging, accessible, and differentiated lessons
* Adapt learning resources and approaches to meet individual academic and behavioural needs
* Promote independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning
* Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support
The Ideal Candidate
* Graduates or soon-to-be graduates (all degree disciplines considered)
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
* Patient, resilient, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for inclusive education
* A proactive team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
