We are currently working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in Cambridge that is looking for a talentedPrivate Client Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Private Client law professional to join a well-regarded and friendly team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage a full and varied caseload, with an initial emphasis on probate and estate administration.Advise clients on all aspects of wills, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).Provide comprehensive estate and tax planning advice, particularly for High-Net-Worth individuals, business owners, and clients with cross-border interests.Work closely with a partner on complex tax planning and wealth structuring matters.Deliver tailored inheritance tax advice in line with clients' personal and financial circumstances.Undertake trust work, including the drafting, administration, and ongoing management of trusts.Offer specialist advice to elderly clients and families with vulnerable or disabled dependants.Actively participate in business development initiatives to support the growth of the Private Wealth team.Build and maintain long-term client relationships through in-person meetings, virtual consultations, and regular communications.
The successful candidate:
3 + years PQE in Wills, Probate, and wider Private Client matters.Proven ability to handle a full probate caseload with minimal supervision.Demonstrated interest or practical experience in estate planning, trusts, and taxation.Technically proficient, with strong IT literacy and experience using case management or workflow platforms.Meticulous attention to detail, with a structured and organised approach to work.Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a client-focused mindset.Commercially minded and forward-thinking, with a strong interest in contributing to business development and the team's growth.
