Senior Independent Living Support Worker
Support the management team in the day‑to‑day running of the homes in this hub, ensuring young people receive a service that promotes their wellbeing and independent living skills.
- Be a positive role model and form effective relationships with young people and their families to meet emotional and physical needs and maximise development opportunities.
- Take part in the out‑of‑hours on‑call system (allowance paid).
- Supervise staff and oversee daily operational activities.
- Respond effectively in crises and make sound judgements under pressure.
- Perform occasional evenings, weekends, bank holidays and “sleep‑in” shifts as required.
Qualifications
- Background in supported accommodation or experience working with young people.
- Professional qualification relevant to working with children, young people and families, or equivalent experience.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Reliable with strong personal relationship and communication skills.
- High professional standards and the ability to work under pressure.
