Job Summary We are offering a full-time permanent level 3 Procurement and supply assistant Apprenticeship, progressing to Level 4 Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop and work in a complex, fast paced Supply Chain function where no two days are the same. The apprenticeship will combine on-the-job work experience, with time at college. What You’ll Do at Work The Purchasing Coordinator will spend time working with the procurement team covering end to end Supply Chain process. Learning to place Purchase Orders and maintain Purchase order confirmations. Tracking and progressing of Purchase Orders. Expediting purchases direct with suppliers. Assisting vendors, warehouse and finance functions. Supporting timely data entry & document distribution for Import Customs operations. Learning national/international shipping and logistical processes, law and operations You will be involved in the planning phases of manufacturing operations. You will do your college work on day release but will complete the course remotely.
