General Manager – New Pines Holiday Park, Rhyl, Denbighshire
Location: Dyserth Road, Rhyl, Denbighshire, UK
Contract: Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week, variable days including weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility essential.
Salary: Based on experience. Competitive rate of pay.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operations across all park departments.
* Ensure high standards of maintenance for grounds, accommodation units, and amenities.
* Implement and monitor operational procedures to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
* Maintain statutory health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Foster a guest-focused culture and handle escalated guest issues.
* Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall experience.
* Manage budgets, control costs, and track performance against financial targets.
* Oversee revenue management, pricing strategies, and occupancy optimisation.
* Provide coaching and leadership to department managers and team members.
* Schedule staff, manage performance reviews, and promote a positive working environment.
* Promote events, activities, and special offers to attract and retain guests.
* Build positive relationships with local authorities, suppliers, and community stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in resort or holiday park management.
* Strong leadership and team-building skills.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Financial literacy including budgeting and forecasting.
* Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and operational best practices.
* Right to live and work in the UK.
* Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
* Previous holiday resort/hospitality experience.
* A driving licence is an advantage.
