Your day will fly by in this busy and varied role, with lots of interaction. It will be a chance to work alongside an experienced administrative team and develop your coordination and communication skills. The great thing is, administration experience isn’t essential, so it could be the chance for you to find your first office role. About the role You will play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly and supporting the team of engineers and management staff, while providing a friendly and professional service to customers. Key responsibilities * Acting as the first point of contact for incoming calls, emails and visitors. * The administration of equipment hire, uploading jobs onto the in-house job system and placing orders with suppliers. * Arranging accommodation for engineers. * Liaising with suppliers and service providers. * Supporting with the preparation of quotes and invoices. * Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date database with client and job information. What you will need * Excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar – you will be writing letters and sending emails on behalf of the director. * Good communication skills – to liaise with customers, suppliers and technicians. * Only basic Word, Excel and Outlook – the company mainly uses a bespoke industry software that you will receive thorough training in. * A positive, outgoing attitude – for this team to be right for you. The business The business provides specialist maintenance to commercial and residential customers. Additional Annual leave entitlement: it starts at 22 days plus bank holidays. Working hours: 40 per week. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role is office-based. But you prefer this anyway!
