Benefits: Competitive salary (£40-42k, negotiable for the right experience) Standby pay and £5 per call for telephone support Sick pay, life insurance, and private medical cover Company vehicle, laptop, credit card, and pension Career progression and ongoing training Social events and employee recognition 20 days holiday (negotiable) long service additions Key Responsibilities: Service & maintain a variety of systems across Intruder alarms, CCTV, Fire and Access control systems including: Scantronic, Avigilon, Hikvision, Texecom, Paxton, Galaxy, 2N, Advanced & Hyfire. Confidently diagnose and resolve issues on both hard-wired and wireless systems with strong IP knowledge. Work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Maintain a positive, proactive attitude while liaising with customers and internal teams. Skills and Experience: Essential: Experience in service/maintenance (Fire and/or Security) NSI accreditation Clean, tidy appearance, strong time management, and excellent communication skills Ideal: Security screened to BS7858 and DBS cleared Understanding of ISO 9001 Experience in fire alarm installations Company Culture: The business is built on a culture of support, inclusion, and long-term commitment. Additional Information: The role involves travelling directly from home to site, with occasional visits to the main office. Standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Engineers will join a 1 week in 9 on-call rota shared between installation and service teams. Travel time is paid, with time-and-a-half paid for on-site work outside standard hours. Double-time applies after 12pm on Saturdays and all day Sunday, subject to management discretion. Additionally, resolved telephone support calls are compensated at £5 per call.
