About the Role:
1. Providing service desk support, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues related to BI tools and reports
2. Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
3. Collaborating with key stakeholders and business leaders to gather reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business needs
4. Independently writing and optimising T-SQL queries with a passion for self development, enlisting guidance and support from senior team members
5. Maintain documentation related to report specifications, processes, and user guides
6. Participating in team meetings, sharing insights and learning and taking an active role in the overall team priorities and responsibilities
About You
7. Previous experience using Power BI (or confident user of other business analytics / data visualisation tool e.g. Tableau) with a strong understanding of data organisation and data flows
8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, focused on high quality output
9. Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation) and confident navigating a matrix organisation
10. Competent in T-SQL
11. Strong collaborator who works well both in a remote / face to face team environment to deliver accurately under tight timescales
12. A natural innovator, with a flair for streamlining and automating reports to reduce manual intervention
13. The ideal candidate with have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
