Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Prescriber to work within the Cambridge CAMHS Neurodevelopmental team.

We work with children and young people with moderate to severe mental health disorders with comorbid ASD, LD and ADHD, providing comprehensive assessment and intervention. This role would mainly work within the ADHD pathway, however there will also be opportunities for development in other pathways.

We are looking for an individual who is interested and passionate about working with young people in a CAMHS setting. We provide neurodevelopmental assessments and post-diagnostic support to young people and their families, including ADHD medication prescribing and monitoring, and psychoeducation.

You will receive clinical supervision relevant to your role. We have a monthly CPD programme and regular MDT reflective meetings. You will join a supportive team who are passionate about making a difference to young people and their families. If you are looking for a new challenge, enjoy variety in your work and wish to be part of a multidisciplinary team striving to make a difference for our community by supporting young people and their families, then we want to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

To provide an evidence-based therapy service to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities in the Neurodevelopmental Service CAMHS which is part of the Children, Young People and Families Directorate in CPFT.
