Job description for Deputy Manager
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy to join our friendly team in a management position as A Deputy Manager for our Care Home. Our home is a residential care home providing care for clients who are elderly, mainly with dementia. We are passionate about providing high quality care in a home from home environment.

Serene Care was setup by a passionate team as a "Boutique" Care Home operator to enrich and provide its residents with a serene, safe, warm and comfortable yet more personalised, stylish and intimate Home.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be caring and compassionate with previous experience working in a management role in a residential care home (either as Manager/ Deputy or Acting). You will be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Health & Social Care Level 5, or be working towards a level 5.
About the role:
As a Deputy manager you will play an important role leading our team, helping us deliver high standards of care to our residents. This is a varied role however the main duties will include:
· Supporting the care team with best practice, training and support.
· Carrying out assessments and admissions of new residents.
· Writing, updating and reviewing care plans.
· Maintain digital records and digitisation.
· Building professional relationships with stake holders and able to deal with regulators/ regulatory requests.
· Delivering a warm and friendly service, in welcoming relatives and healthcare professionals to our home.
· Ensuring audits completed on time
· Overseeing charts documents /checking senior and monitoring documentation
· Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and evidence maintained correctly
· Must have experience in using MS Excel and MS Word.
