Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview:
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations in our client's chilled warehouse. Your responsibilities include leading a diverse team, driving productivity, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Your leadership and warehouse management experience will be key to maintaining smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage warehouse staff during 12-hour shifts, ensuring operational flow and productivity.
2. Supervise and motivate a diverse workforce, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
3. Oversee the use of Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) in daily operations.
4. Ensure accurate stock management and meet customer delivery expectations.
5. Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct regular checks, and address risks promptly.
6. Track and report KPIs to meet targets.
7. Resolve operational issues efficiently to minimize disruptions.
8. Provide coaching and training to team members, promoting a positive work culture.
9. Act as a communication link between warehouse staff and senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
* Valid PPT Licence and experience operating pallet trucks.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and safety regulations.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
* Chilled warehouse environment.
* 12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off (6am to 6pm).
* Physical role requiring manual handling and equipment use.
