CPR Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Electrical Contracts Manager to join our client’s growing team based in Oldbury, covering projects across the West Midlands.
Our client is a well-established Electrical Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the region. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a skilled Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects and ensure successful delivery.
The Role – Electrical Contracts Manager
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing multiple electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion
* Liaising directly with clients and maintaining strong working relationships
* Preparing, submitting, and managing tenders
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Producing accurate cost plans and project budgets
* Calculating costs for materials, labour, and equipment hire
* Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Managing subcontractors and site teams
* Monitoring project progress to ensure delivery on time and within budget
* Attending site meetings and progress reviews
* Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
* Overseeing quality control and ensuring high standards of workmanship
* Completing end-of-project documentation, including O&M manuals and handover packs
Candidate Requirements:
* Relevant electrical qualifications (essential)
* Strong electrical background with previous experience in a similar Contracts Manager role
* Good knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical projects
* Excellent organisational and planning skills
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
* Full UK driving licence
