Head of Finance
* Annual Salary: £80,000 - £100,000
* Location: Norwich
* Job Type: Full-time
Reed Finance Norwich are delighted to be supporting a local, Norwich based business to join them during an exciting growth period. This family run business are looking for a Head of Finance to join their Senior Leadership Team.
This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic financial direction and lead the finance function, supporting sustainable growth and maintaining their culture of quality and customer focus.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
* Support strategic planning, revenue modelling, and investment appraisal.
* Provide commercial insight for new contract mobilisation, pricing models, and revenue build-up plans.
* Lead the production of accurate monthly management accounts and board reporting.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasts, and financial modelling to track cash flow and ensure financial resilience.
* Translate financial data into actionable insights for the business.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
* Develop and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of openness and mutual respect.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience.
* Proven track record as a senior finance leader with a significant contribution to business strategy.
* Experience in investment appraisal and raising finance.
* Desirable: Experience in a multi-site, growing organisation and familiarity with commercial, service-led, or property-related businesses.
* Demonstrated experience in debt structuring, property financing, or asset-backed lending is advantageous.
