As the saying goes, no two days will be the same, but overall, youll be doing.Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and management of patients that would have traditionally been referred into secondary care rheumatology services with non-inflammatory/ persistent joint problemsDevelop and implement individualised treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, to optimally manage patients conditions.Provide speciality advice to requests from stakeholders across the pathwayLead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.Holding professional relationships with external clinical stakeholders (such as secondary care consultants and GPs) in order to facilitate successful partnership working and the delivery and development of high-quality rheumatology care for patients across the system.
Main duties of the job
Were looking for a well-organised individual, to deliver quality clinical care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Youll undertake comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of MSK needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge are achieved.We are dedicated in delivering the highest level of patient care, in the most efficient and cost-effective way, with re-investment to ensure services are sustainable. We are committed to a multi-professional workforce based on competency and welcome applications from Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors.
